KW-2 (Russian КВ-2), named after the Minister of Defense at the time of the introduction of the KW series, Marshal Kliment Jefremowich Woroschilov, was a serious Soviet tank, which was used in the Second World War from 1941 to 1942.
The KW-2 was developed on the chassis of KW-1 when the Soviet General Staff called for a tank with heavy armament for combating attached positions and bunkers. In order to be able to fulfill this requirement, the tower was greatly enlarged to be able to absorb a shortened 152 mm artillery contactor. The high silhouette of the vehicle now required a reinforced armor on the tower to withstand the expected violent shell. Thus, the battle weight of KW-2 increased to 57 tonnes and its maximum speed fell to less than 30 km / h. The only Soviet variant of KW-2 was the KW-2B, which was not based on the chassis of KW-1, but on the chassis of improved KW-1a.
The Amewi Edition is a true replica in scale 1:16. It is an RTR (Ready-to-Run) version in the latest version (electronics TK 7.0) and is equipped with an encapsulated metal gear and with metal wings for the wheels. The tank also has a smoke and sound function. The delivery takes place in a high-quality printed cardboard with matching styrocorker. Each tank is tested for functionality and completeness prior to delivery. A checklist is included. Also included is an infrared combat module, which allows exciting two-fighting with other models of the AMEWI standard, Advanced or per line. With a direct goal with the infrared MG, the tank made shakes and thus displays a hit. The tank can be sensitively controlled and the model impresses with its original sounds and many functions. The KV-2 tank has next to the infrared combat module still over a 6mm BB shot plant over the main gun (cannon). All functions are fully proportionally controllable. Five different sounds are adjustable via the transmitter.
